No, attendance is free
4. Will food be on sale at Caribbean Kite Festival?
Yes, we will have Caribbean Food along with a few of Houston’s most popular food trucks. There will also be concessions available for snack and water purchases.

6. Are there other kids’ activities besides kite flying?
Yes! Face painting, Two-Legged Race, Easter Egg Hunt, Bun Eating Contest, Pin-the Kite Tail Contest, Sack Race, Potato Race, Needle & Thread Race, Tug-A-War and these activities for the entire family to enjoy!
7. Can we get a kite there?
Yes, Caribbean Kite Festival will have kites available for sale the day of the festival. Please know that supplies are limited and will be available for purchase on a first-come, first served basis. You are encouraged to bring your own kite with you to avoid the lines and possible sell out.
8. Will Security be provided?
Yes, Caribbean Kite Festival believes in the safety of all persons in attendance. Security is provided by the PCT 3 Officers.
9. How can I volunteer to help out at Caribbean Kite Festival?
We will be accepting student volunteers’ with the appropriate community service form. Once the volunteer completes his/her volunteer hours the community service form will be signed at the festival. Volunteers can assist with the Kite Festival throughout the day at various shifts. Service Areas include: set - up, concession stand servers, kids – zone activities, breakdown, and clean up. 10. Can I bring my dog?
Yes, Caribbean Kite Festival is canine friendly. Please bring your pet on a leash to ensure the safety of all Park visitors. Please be considerate of others and the environment and pick up after your dog.
